Research Scope of Kawamura Lab.

Key words : Solid State Ionics, Superionic Conductor, ion diffusion, glass transition
Laser optics, NMR, dielectric, lithium battery, fuel cell, SELFOC lens.

We are investigating the ionic motion in condensed matters by electrical, optical and nuclear magnetic techniques.
Based on the results, we are developing new ionic conductors and solid state ionics devices.

Target : Solid State IonicsiSuperioic Conductorj

1. Analysis of Ion Dynamics in Solids
2. Development of New Ionic Conductors
3. Applications
-All Solid State Batteries
-Fuel Cells
-Sensors, Electrochromic Device, etc.

Methods : Electromagnetic Waves

1. Laser Optics (Raman, O-Kerr,HB, PLD, etc.)
2. Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR)
(relaxation, diffusion, micro-imaging)@
3. Electrical Measurements (impedance,CV, etc.)
